My favorite thing about reviewing toys is getting to try out new and innovative designs; there’re just so many interesting new things on the horizon I never would have dreamed of. One such well-reviewed company at the forefront of sex tech is Fun Factory, and I was excited to try their new vibrator, the Be-One. Advertised primarily as a couple’s toy, the Be-One is a small bullet-style vibe that fits between your fingers. This toy appears to be designed to fit more seamlessly into your play and make touching your partner that much more pleasurable.
When I received the Be-One, the first thing that struck me was the packaging. The box it comes in includes a yes-no-maybe sheet on the inside that also talks about enthusiastic consent. I think this is a small but really cool inclusion for a couples toy; I honestly don’t think I have ever seen a sex toy that promoted partner negotiation before. When you open up the box, it also includes a little pamphlet that has instructions on how to use and care for the toy, as well as some games one can play with it. The design and illustrations are all lovely, and it’s refreshing to see a toy company have an active conversation about play and consent.

Fun Factory Be-One in its carrying case
I’ll begin by noting some small, cool features of this toy. Firstly, it comes with a little carrying case! Also, I really appreciate the way the charging cord is designed and that it’s a bright red color that stands out nicely in my box of black cords. The toy also comes travel-locked, and they make sure to put in the information packet in large, clear letters how to unlock it, something that you would think makes sense but has been rare to find in my personal experience.
In terms of the practical use of the Be-One, I am still rather torn. I find that while it is super easy and comfortable to hold the vibe between your fingers, it seems to me that it gets in the way of them. I prefer to hold it like I would a regular bullet vibe and tease myself with it that way. The thing that kind of sucks about using it that way is figuring out how to get the best use out of both motors; you can use the pointed part to tease the clit, but the motor on the other end is definitely stronger. Plus, the combination of the two is the most pleasurable.

Fun Factory Be-One held between fingers
A fun way to use this I found was to nestle it between my labia, so the larger motor is on my clit and the pointed part is near the opening of my vagina. It feels pretty good, and even more fun when you have it on the “flirt” setting, which consists just of the two motors oscillating randomly. I enjoy sitting with it on me and teasing me, but none of the settings are strong enough to actually get me off. After trying it on my own for a while and being underwhelmed, I handed it off to Dick to tease me with (and to see what he thought). I asked him some questions after, so here are his answers:
How do you feel about the way this toy handles? After a few minutes of trying it the way it was intended to be held between the knuckles, I found it to be difficult to figure out what I was doing to your body. There wasn’t much control over what part of the toy was touching you vs where my hand was. So, I flipped it around and held it in a different orientation, almost like you would hold a normal bullet, and I found it to be a lot easier to control and direct where I was applying sensations.
What do you think about the vibration? It’s like a moderate strength, which can be cool because sometimes toys can be too buzzy and this one seemed to not be in spite of it’s size and design. I dig it.
I used this on you during a blow job once, what did you think of that? I tend to like vibrators used on my dick without lube or moisture. I usually pair them with different fabrics or socks wrapped around myself. I think you using the vibe during a blowjob didn’t enhance much for me but that’s more of a personal preference.
Would you recommend this toy? Yes, once I got the hang of how to use it on you, I think it was actually really fun for teasing and building up tension before doing other play. I definitely put it in the foreplay/tease and denial category of toys rather then this being the thing that puts you over the edge.
And now my personal pros and cons:
Pros:
- Dual rumbly motors
- Easy magnetic charging with an easy to find cord
- Comes with a carrying case
- Ergonomic handling
Cons:
- Not as powerful as I’d like.
I am rather torn on my final assessment of the Be-One, because I do think it’s a pretty cool toy; I just don’t know if it’s something I actually like. The shape is very comfortable to handle whether you have it between your fingers or not, and it fits nicely with the body. I only wish that the motors were stronger so I could get off with it. I like this as a teasing toy but not one to finish with. I would recommend the Be-One to someone who is looking for a small and easy to hold vibe with versatility, unless they’re someone who needs a lot of power to get off.
Thank you to SheVibe for sending us this toy in exchange for an honest review!
