I was recently contacted by the Japanese company Liebe Seele to test some of their gorgeous handmade leather gear. Long-time readers may remember my appreciation for aesthetic gear, something that this company seemed to have in spades, so I was excited to give it a shot. They selected for me three pieces from their Wine Red collection, which couldn’t have been more perfect for me!
Liebe Seele sent me the leather bondage set in beautiful boxes. The packaging is entirely in Japanese, which isn’t a problem except when you have the handcuffs and ankle cuffs, since they look really similar (though I easily found out which was which when I compared the sizes of the cuffs themselves). All of the packaging for these products is super luxe and feels like you’re getting a fancy little gift.

I was very impressed when I finally had the pieces in my hands. The leather used for the Wine Red collection is all very soft and supple, and the hardware is a beautiful rose gold color. These pieces are some of the prettiest I have seen, and, not for nothing—match a lot of the pieces in my maroon lingerie collection. Something I really appreciate about this set is that it’s subtly femme in a classy way, which I feel like I haven’t seen too often in bondage gear. This set fits my personality and kink style so perfectly, it’s almost like they were made for me.
I couldn’t wait to put these pieces to the test, so I called upon a good friend and lover to try them out with me. Once I got her all bound up I proceeded to flog her ass (the flogger was also red—aesthetics are important) and then we had some excellent gay sex. I asked her opinion of the gear afterwards, and she gave it a five star-rating. Our scene was about an hour long and she didn’t have any discomfort with the cuffs or the ball gag. She also said the gag is super comfortable, and is probably going to buy one for herself! An added bonus is how quickly you can unclip the cuffs and clip them back any you want.

In terms of complaints, I really don’t have many. The cuffs might benefit from a snap or a bit of Velcro underneath the buckle to prevent the straps from sliding apart, and the only other thing I noticed is that the sealed edge around the ball gag bit is starting to crack. This may make cleaning a bit difficult in the future if it falls off.

Overall, I really love this bondage set. The leather is soft and comfortable as well as being super pretty. I love the versatility of the cuff chain, though at times it seems a bit long for my taste. This issue could easily be fixed by swapping it out for a carabiner, and we always have plenty. The price point on these pieces are pretty reasonable for the quality (the ball gag is $40, the cuffs are $64 and $65). Liebe Seele has a bunch more items in their Wine Red line that I hope I can get my hands on in the future. I also noticed they take custom orders!
