Some folks may remember not too long ago when we did a partnership with the (then, and I suppose still) new sex toy company plusOne.  I was very excited about it, because they were doing something that I’d never seen before in the market—silicone, waterproof, and rechargeable sex toys at affordable prices.  Their dual vibrating massager is actually the best “rabbit”-style vibe I have tried so far, which I think is quite impressive, given my general dislike for most vibes of that type.  But what was really exciting to me was something that I saw back at Sex Expo in September of last year.  plusOne had been developing their own wand-style vibrator at the same price point as the rest of their collection.  Being a huge fan of wands, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.  And, my friends, the day has finally come that I have.

The plusOne Vibrating Wand is a relatively petite 7.4″ long by 1.6″ wide, nearly the same size as the PalmPower Recharge.  It’s made entirely out of a nice, matte silicone that’s soft to the touch and surprisingly doesn’t attract much dust.  It’s also 100% waterproof and has magnetic recharging, which is a rare find for a wand even today.  I like that the neck of the wand is pretty flexible, and while the head itself is pretty hard, the silicone is enough of a buffer for it to be comfortable to use.

As far as power goes, the Vibrating Wand was a pleasant surprise.  The first thing I noticed was how SUPER RUMBLY it was.  The wand has three steady vibration speeds and they all remain rumbly, from lower to highest.  I compared these to some of my other heavy-hitting vibrators and found that the it even out-rumbled some of the best of them.  In terms of sheer power, I would compare the highest setting on the Vibrating Wand to the lowest setting on my Palm Power Extreme. I would go as far as to say that the plusOne Wand is a little bit more rumbly then the Palm Power, which is honestly impressive.  So while it’s not as hard-hitting power-wise as your go-to wands, I would say it probably knocks out all contenders in the same price range.  Like, a super deep, rumbly toy for $32?  Color me impressed.

Even more surprising was the fact that this toy has 7 additional pattern settings, a few of which I actually LIKE!  (Shocking, I know.)  I usually find patterns completely uninteresting, so I was excited to find some that were enjoyable.  I will admit, however, that I have been using this toy more often than not in a way I suppose it wasn’t exactly designed for.  Because it’s waterproof, and because of the small size, I find  that it actually fits super lovely inside of my vagina, and when I turn it on the correct pattern it feels like a thrust.  That paired with my favorite air pulsing toys, have actually been my go-to for jerking off of late.  I mean, I am not going to say that you should def do this, because your results may vary, but so far I love it.

And now for some pros and cons:

Pros:

  • Fully waterproof silicone
  • Magnetic recharging
  • RUMBLY motor
  • It comes with a nice storage bag
  • Only $32!!!!

Cons:

  • Not as strong as regular (and more expensive) wands

Overall, I was really impressed by this toy, and while it doesn’t match the sheer power of the classics, it’s still DAMN good for a $32 vibrator.  I prefer this wand to all of my bullets (yes, even the Tango).  I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid starter vibe or looking to get something a little more rumbly in your collection.  And as far as plusOne goes, I wait with bated breath (hahaha) to see where they go next.

Thanks so much to plusOne for sending me this toy to review!
