2020 has really been a year that changed the way I orgasm. Before this year I relied on wands exclusively; I always needed a super-powered punch to the vulva to get off. That changed when the We-Vibe Melt came into my life and introduced me to what good air pulse toys could do. After that, I was smitten. I had now had the motivation to try other toys of this kind and see what I had been missing out on. That’s when I received the Womanizer Liberty, the toy I am very excited to review for you today.
On looks alone, the Liberty seems like a sleek and fancy little toy. It comes with a magnetic cover for travel and even a soft little bag to store it in. The magnet that keeps the cover on is pretty weak but I suppose the bag helps it stay together if you plan to travel with it. The Liberty comes in four colors which are all really nice, and the one I have is the gorgeous wine red. I really like the way the toy fits in my hand and against my body, the shape and size all seem to fit just right. Included with the toy is an additional silicone nozzle that’s a different size in case the one attached doesn’t quite fit. I haven’t had an issue with the fit but it’s still cool they included it.

The Liberty has a modest six levels of intensity, which I find to be very reasonable. When I use air pulse toys I find them to be pretty intense. On the Liberty, the optimal power for me to get off is usually the third or fourth level. If you haven’t tried an air pulsing toy before, it can be a little hard to describe, but I find these types of toys to feel sort of between a sucking and a thumping. I find that the Liberty is good and thumpy, even possibly moreso than the Melt. It’s like a nice deep tapping that reverberates throughout my whole clitoral system. The biggest difference I have found between air pulsing toys and wands is that as soon as I start to orgasm I have to move the toy away from my clit because the sensations starts to become too much. I’ve actually heard the same thing from other people who use these, which I guess is a real testament to their intensity.
I like the shape of the Liberty against my body a lot. It fits nicely atop my pelvic area, and can stay in place well if I put it in a pair of panties. The only design issue I have is that the buttons are on the underside of the toy, so if I want to change the speed I have to reach underneath. I suppose this isn’t a huge deal but it definitely feels less convenient then the outside buttons like on the Melt or Starlet. The only other beef I have with this toy is that you have to hold the plus button in order to turn it off, which feels totally unnatural and is also different from the other suction toys I have which all use the minus. I mean, it seems like putting it on the minus makes more sense to me but in the grand scheme of things this is also a minor complaint.

Pros:
-Good shape (at least for me)
-Deep thumpy power
-Solid price for what you get
-Magnetic recharging
-Waterproof and easy to clean
-Travel ready
-Two hour battery life (though I often get more if I use it on lower settings)
Cons:
-Buttons are on the underside which is usually against your body
-Off is the plus button instead of the minus
Overall I think the Liberty is an excellent toy. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying an air pulse toy and wants to get a good one for a decent price. You can certainly get a cheaper piece like the Starlet, but I think it’s really worth the extra $20 for a toy with more power and also much longer run time. The Liberty has gone into my rotation of regularly used clitoral stimulation toys, and I think if you try one you’ll feel the same.
Thank you Womanizer for sending me this toy in exchange for an honest review! All links on this post are affiliate links.

Wow what a great review! Did you ever try any similar toy or was this your first suction toy?
Thank you! Yes I have used other suction toys, I link off to the other reviews for them in this post. 🙂
